Why me

Organisations don't fail because they lack data. They fail because uncertainty outpaces their capacity to decide.

I've spent three years building a global workforce planning function from zero inside a large engineering consultancy - which means I know what the models say, and what actually happens when they meet a leadership team under pressure. I've named the patterns I see repeatedly: Stability Theatre, Capability Debt, Weak-Signal Literacy, and the Emotional Ecology of Workforce Planning.

I talk about the part most sessions skip - why technically sound planning still fails to change decisions.
